This session will help participants understand the theory and practice behind ‘Lego Club’ and consider what you would need to begin one! • To understand the theory and practice of Lego Club • To consider the benefits to children with SEN • To begin to understand how to create and run a Lego Club • To reflect on how to embed, measure and record success
The course is split into 5 sessions. The first 3 will be led by some key content and practical ideas (enabling school staff to reflect on their own practice) with the following 2 as ‘drop-ins’ for problem solving discussions and sharing effective practice Session 2: Considering feedback, rules, routines and directions
This is a two-part training course to apply the theory and practice of Precision Teaching (PT) as a formative assessment strategy to enhance numeracy and handwriting / spelling skills. There is an expectation that all delegates will undertake an assignment using the PT approach between sessions 1 and 2. The second session for to be attended is 20th November 2025, 0930-1230.
The making sense of autism training will give you a better understanding and awareness of autism and the way it affects pupils in school. This session is charged at £32 + VAT for MAST subscribed schools, non-MAST price on request.
This training highlights some of the research on ACEs and focuses on practical strategies and adaptations that reflect a trauma informed approach to school support.
We are offering a network group for problem-solving, ways forward, ideas and inspiration led by experienced MAST Family Learning Mentors and a Senior EP.
In this session, we will explore the reasons why children and young people may develop ESBA behaviours and the ways in which schools can support the attendance and emotional wellbeing of these pupils. We will consider both the psychological theory associated with ESBA as well as practical approaches and strategies. There will be a particular focus on early identification and prevention, whole-school systems, and a graduated approach.

Staff to feel supported in their work and confident in their ability to adapt their delivery of interventions to meet the specific needs of individual children and young people with social and emotional difficulties. Staff to feel able to overcome challenges that they face in their work through engaging in collaborative problem-solving.
This is a drop in session following 3 sessions of support for classroom management. This will provide supervision and support sessions
